Weekly Events

Events are held on most Sundays from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.  Join us as we immerse ourselves in chanting, meditation, and the teachings and grace of the Siddha Yoga Path to attune ourselves to our own divine nature.  Almost all weekly events are open to seekers free of charge and without prerequisite.

The specific schedule of upcoming events can be found on the Homepage of the website.

Satsang
The central weekly event is satsang.  Satsang means both a gathering of seekers for the purpose of chanting, meditation and listening to scriptural teachings or readings, and also “the company of Truth”.

Often, we stay for refreshments after satsang to share our experiences on the Siddha Yoga path and to savor the vibrant community present at the meditation center.

Chanting and Meditation Session
Chanting and Meditation Sessions are characterized by an extended chant, often led by center musicians, followed by meditation.

Shri Guru Gita
Once a month, we offer a recitation of Shri Guru Gita.  Translated literally as “song of the Guru”, Shri Guru Gita is a svadhyaya – a chant consisting of 182 sanskrit verses that describe the nature of the Guru, the power of the Guru’s grace, and the ways the Guru leads the disciple to the knowledge of the Self.
